DEFENSIVE PISTOL-  builds off of THE BASICS course focusing on shooting and moving, shooting from cover, multiple threat assessment, and multiple rounds of engagement.

  • Ethics of owning a firearm
  • Gear selection and choices
  • Basic marksmanship

Required Gear:

  • 300 rounds of ammunition (no steel allowed)
  • Rifle
  • 3-5 magazines
  • Magazine carrier
  • Belt
  • Solid construction holster (no leather holsters)
  • Eye protection
  • Ear protection
  • Snacks & water
  • Inclement weather clothing (heat/cold)
  • Closed-toe shoes
